Welcome to the Jungle Review: Hell-come to the Junk-le. Farida ji you Rockstar!

Ahmad Khan's heavily delayed Welcome to the Jungle finally hit theaters this Friday, but the makers should have taken the payment disputes as a sign to shelve it. Despite a massive 34-actor ensemble built for a comic caper, the movie flips expectations in the worst way: the plot is too messy for situational humor, and genuine laughs are few and far between.

Even if you leave your brain at home, this torturous 2-hour-and-47-minute slog takes forever to make you laugh. Out of a massive 34-actor cast, only veterans Farida Jalal ji and Kiran Kumar evoke genuine laughs despite limited screentime, completely overshadowing the film's main stars. While the second half offers occasional sparks through nostalgic references and story progression, the dreaded first half is a total drag. Compounding the mess are glaring technical flaws, including hazy camerawork, dubbing issues, and cinematographic inconsistencies.

We are all for 'leave your brains' at home, but even after having the right ingredients, the movie just does not have the right recipe and is lifted by the veterans. I am going with 1.5 elephants solely for the love of Farida Jalal ji.

By the time, this movie ended, I could feel what Hansa felt - "मैं तो थक गई भाईसाहब!" AVOID. It is not even worth your laughs and more importantly, time.
